take away message 5/10

Coming into this class i always thought that wikipedia wasn't a good resource to use but after our discussion my thoughts have changed. even though people can go and edit the pages and articles it doesn't mean that it is all posted. i believe wikipedia can be used as a start for the students and also used as a tool. since there is a uncertainty with the information being provided on wikipedia this allows the students to go and research more into their topic and see if the information they are reading is true or false. even thought i believe it is better to know what your reading is providing you the correct information this allows the students to experience and learn more while using technology.
