Take away 3/24

Watching the video about Minecraft being integrated within the computer classroom made me wonder how truly the video game related to what students should be learning in computers. when i was in computer class i remember playing games that improved my typing skills and computer skills. i was playing games that related to the topics i was learning within my main subjects. Even though the teachers had lesson plans going along with the game i think there is other programs that would work better. i understand that it is something the children enjoy but i do believe there is a line that should be drawn with children having fun and learning at the same time.
